Together with the financial support
of local businesses and community members, the Groton-Dunstable
Education Foundation (GDEF) has been enhancing the quality of our
students’ education since 2004, by funding grant initiatives
that foster our teachers’ creativity and improve student academic
achievement.
GDEF funds grants
for dynamic classroom and curriculum programs and materials as well
as professional development opportunities that fall outside of the
normal operating budget yet which positively impact the staff, students,
and ultimately the communities of Groton and Dunstable.
GDEF disburses funds
through two annual grant cycles, a fall mini-grant cycle for requests
of $500 or less, and a spring grant cycle for requests of any amount.
Teachers, administrators, and other staff are encouraged to apply
for GDEF grants. In addition, students, parents, community members
and organizations may apply with a district staff sponsor. Please
read below for more information on applying for a GDEF grant.
