Media Release Groton Dunstable Education Foundation Announces 2nd Annual Antique Preview Party Hold the date! The Groton Dunstable Education Foundation is planning their 2nd Annual Antique Preview Party and Auction which will be held on October 8, 2004, in the Meadow at Jos. Kilbridge Antiques in Groton. This successful (and really fun!) event provided funds that the Foundation has used to fund educational programs that are currently benefiting broad groups of students throughout our public school district. The Antique Preview Party and Auction was sold out last year and the same turnout is expected again this fall as we all come together to raise funds to support our publicly funded schools in the communities of Groton and Dunstable. Kristen Stone, GDEF Co-President says, “We are so appreciative of the support and generosity of Cathie diGrazia and Jos. Kilbridge Antiques. Hosting the Antique Preview Party and Auction under tents in their moonlit meadow provided a wonderful setting which truly made last year’s event a night to remember for all who attended. We’re very excited to begin planning now for this fall’s big event!” In order to guarantee another successful event, we need the communities' help and are actively seeking donations for the live and silent auction as well as people who are interested in working on the donor committee. For those who attended last year’s party, watch for your postcard in early June which will allow you to pre-purchase your tickets. If you were one of the folks who was disappointed to find out we were sold out last year and would like to be sure and get your tickets early this year, please send an email with your name and address to kflanagan@gdefinc.org and you will be sent a postcard in early June as well. Plan now to attend this wonderful event and help our children “Reach for the Stars”!
