Media Release Local Businesses Contribute Exciting Donations For Groton Dunstable Education Foundation 2nd Annual Antique Preview Party, Auction and Dance
The Groton Dunstable Education Foundation’s upcoming major fundraiser, which will fund the next school year’s two grant cycles, is receiving strong support from local area businesses. Many amazing auction items have been generously donated for the event, to be held on October 8, 2004 in the meadow at Jos. Kilbridge Antiques in Groton. Donated items include a “Patriots Package” with a football personally signed by Adam Vinatieri, two Patriots tickets in a luxury box suite and a VIP parking pass generously donated by Nextel Electronics; one cheese pizza per week for a year from the Pizza Mann of Dunstable; $500 off a Maytag/Amana/Jenn-Air appliance of your choice courtesy of the Palmacci family and Forest Appliance in Townsend; two $150 gift certificates from Nashoba Vision Associates of Groton; and a scenic airplane ride for three courtesy of Bill Psaledakis of Dunstable bundled with brunch for two at Michael Timothy’s of Nashua. Also, Stoneworks Gallery of Dunstable has designed and donated an original handmade pendant of Groton-Dunstable granite, lapis lazuli, sterling silver and 18 karat gold, and Wilson Brothers of Pepperell has donated one Aprilaire humidifier and filter, installed. Kristen Stone, Co-President of the GDEF and Chair of the Donations Committee is thrilled with the outpouring of support and says, “I think attendees are going to love the wonderful items that will be up for bid the evening of this event — thanks to our hard-working donor team and the community for their generosity.” Laurie Moskow, Marketing Director of the Groton Dunstable Education Foundation as well as chief author and designer of their website adds, “All 200+ auction items will be listed on the website soon – please stay tuned.” Don’t miss out on this fun-filled event, which was a sellout last October. If you haven’t already purchased your tickets, please visit www.gdefinc.org, and click on Events. The evening will include:
