 Grants
We are pleased to announce that
 grants have been awarded
for
the November 1, 2007 grant cycle!
For this, the
Foundation's ninth grant cycle,
we received nineteen grant applications
totaling $9,483.
After careful consideration, GDEF was pleased
to fund
fourteen of these grants, totaling $7,033.
Four of these grants, totaling $2,050, were
funded
due to the generosity of the Bruce J. Anderson Foundation,
which awarded GDEF a grant for the
Integration of the Arts Project.

The overwhelming interest from
GDRSD faculty & staff and
Groton & Dunstable community members,
which clearly shows the need for
supplemental funds to enhance our public schools,
continues to motivate the Foundation
in its fundraising efforts to benefit
public education in our District.

GDEF is pleased to announce that it has been
awarded a $6,000 grant from the Bruce J. Anderson Foundation,
a supporting organization of
the Boston Foundation, to implement
an Integration of the Arts project.
This exciting new endeavor will allow GDEF to
increase enrichment opportunities, specifically in the area of arts education,
for every child in our school district.
GDEF funded four Integration of the Arts
programs as part of our fall 2007 grant cycle. Visit

Almost $4,000 in funds for this Project are still
available for disbursement in the next grant cycle!
