the students in our public schools!

Bet Your Lucky Stars! dinner dance
on March 24^th,
but only 400 tickets are available,
so buy your tickets early!

Due to legal restrictions, raffle tickets cannot be
ordered or delivered through the mail.

Raffle ticket orders must be returned to one of the
drop-off locations listed below,
which are also listed on the order form.

If you order raffle tickets, you will be asked to indicate
whether you wish to have them delivered or
to pick them up the night of the event.

Raffle Disclaimer: “Bet Your Lucky Stars” raffle prizes: One prize of $5,000; one prize of $2,500 and one prize of $1,000. A maximum of 400 tickets and a minimum of 200 tickets will be sold.  The winner will be drawn on May 25, 2006. Winners need not be present to win. If the minimum number of tickets is not sold, GDEF will contact all entrants and refund their ticket price within thirty days after the drawing date. The price of the raffle ticket does not qualify as a charitable deduction for federal income tax purposes. The prize money will be treated as ordinary income to the winner for federal and state income tax purposes and the winner may be required to prepay a portion of the tax liability prior to receiving the prize. All proceeds will be used by GDEF to benefit the public schools in Groton and Dunstable, Massachusetts.  Depositing this order form, raffle tickets, or any materials in connection with this raffle in the federal mails is a violation of federal law and may lead to criminal penalties.
